Allen Edwin Smith January 21, 1932 - March 28, 2010 Hermitage, TN - Allen Edwin Smith 78, of Hermitage, TN passed away March 28, 2010 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born January 21, 1932 in Oneco, CT to Carl Edwin and Ruby Elizabeth (Smith) Smith. After graduating from Killingly High School in 1950, he served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. In 1976 he moved to Mt. Juliet, TN to work for Aladdin Industries and in 1981 founded Almar Molded Products, Inc. where he retired in 2001. He is survived by his wife Mary Gallup Smith, sons Glenn Smith of Wilton Manors, FL, Tom (Neva) Smith of Crossville, TN, Michael (Cheryl) Smith of Fairview, TN and daughter Nancy (Jeff) Montoney of Mt. Juliet, TN.
