SIMS, Alice (nee Hickey)On February 21, 2013, Alice passed away at the age of 83 years.She will be lovingly remembered by John, her husband of 59 years; daughter Gail (Ross) Hamilton; four grandsons Christopher (Kathy), Kevin (Chelly), Jared (Katherine) and Ryan; and six great-grandchildren Tyler, Megan, Hannah, Juliana, Sarah and Olivia. A Viewing will be held at 1:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013, at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 9009 -163 Street, Edmonton. Interment to follow at Westlawn Memorial Gardens. The family thanks the staff at Devonshire Care Centre for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
