Alice Morrison, conjointe de Don Morrison, est décédée le 10 avril 2006. Veuillez consulter son avis de décès ici:
MORRISON, Alice Louise (McCalla) Louise Morrison passed away on April 10, 2006 after a very brief illness. Born in St. Catharines, Ontario in 1910, she had lived in the Comox Valley for over 50 years. Louise was predeceased by her husband, Don, in 1964. She was a very special person to her family and enjoyed sharing many visits and activities with them. Her daughter Edie Stewart and her husband Sandy of Victoria and her son Don Morrison and his wife Jeannette of Langley appreciated her loving presence. Her six grandchildren were such an important part of her life: Angus Stewart and his wife Danita of Victoria, Eric Stewart and his finance Katrina Mitchell of Vancouver, Robbie, Ryan, Rick and Renee Morrison all of Vancouver, and the new little light in her life, her great grandchild Charlie Stewart of Victoria. She also leaves her brother Bill McCalla and his wife Myrtle of Penticton and her sister and traveling companion Dency McCalla of Kamloops. Louise was also very close to her extended McCalla family, which includes thirteen nieces and nephews and their families, and to her husband's family in Scotland. Louise taught at Robb Road School for many years and enjoyed meeting her former students in various places around the valley. She travelled the world, visiting every continent and following the highways and back roads of Canada. She was active in a number of community organizations, including Meals on Wheels and The Historical Society, and she quietly helped many friends in need. Louise was adventuresome, tenacious, positive and generous. She will live forever in our hearts. The family thanks Dr. Fitzpatrick for his understanding care over many years. All are welcome to share in a celebration of Louise's life at Comox United Church, 250 Beach Drive on Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. 233095
