Alice Mary Collins 1934 - 2004 ALLISON, NB - Alice Mary Collins, 69, of Allison, NB, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2004 at The Moncton City Hospital with her loving family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer over the past two years. She was born in Cap Pele, NB, on July 7, 1934 the daughter of the late Tilmon and Amanda (Robichaud) Arsenault. She was a member of the St. Jude's Catholic Church in Salisbury. Alice was a housewife and mother who took great pride in raising her family. She was a very special lady and cherished times spent with her family and friends. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her loving and devoted husband, Leroy Collins; her four daughters, Nancy Williamson (Gerald) of Colpitts Settlement, Patsy Fairweather of Memramcook, Susan LeBlanc (Andre) of Memramcook and Sandra Drisdelle (John) of Salisbury; one son, Terry Collins (Cindy) of Colpitts Settlement; two sisters, Cecile Caissie (Antoine) of Moncton and Lyla Teed (Floyd) of Moncton; two brothers, Aldore Arsenault of Moncton and Levi Arsenault (Rita) of Moncton; her nine precious grandchildren. Alice will also be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and many friends. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a son, Leroy Jr.; infant daughters, Penny and Memmery; one brother, Dosithe Arsenault. Honoring Alice's own wishes there will be no viewing. The family will be meeting with relatives and friends on Monday evening from 7-9pm at the Albert County Funeral Home in Hopewell Cape. The time from 8-9pm has been set aside for a time of sharing and anyone wishing to do a Eulogy or share some stories or memories of Alice is invited to do so at this time. The funeral Mass will be held in the St. Jude's Catholic Church, Salisbury on Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at 2pm with Father McKee Officiating. Internment will be held in the Holy Ghost Cemetery, Hopewell Hill,NB in the spring. Donations to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital (Oncology Unit) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
