Alice M. Cassidy 1924 - 2008 The death of Alice M. Cassidy of Moncton, occurred peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, April 12th, 2008 following a lengthy illness. Born in Moncton on September 7th, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Regina (Boucher) Casey. Alice was known to many children in greater Moncton, having worked for many years as the receptionist for the late Dr. Claude M. Leighton, Pediatrician. Alice is survived by her husband of 50 years, Louis P. Cassidy, sisters; Margaret Babineau (Ronald) of Moncton, and Eva Connelly (Gerald) of Toronto. She was predeceased by her sister Freda Rateau (Jack) of Arizona, USA, and brothers; Edward of Toronto and Edgar of Moncton. There will be no visitation by request. A Memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, April 16th, 2008 in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home, Father Paul Breau officiating. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, Field of Honor. Donations to The Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
