On March 26, 2015, Alice Lynn moved on. The last surviving of 10 brothers and sisters, she left today for a long vacation. She was much loved and will be greatly missed but we will carry her in our hearts always.She is survived by her two daughters and their families. She was lovingly cared for in her home for these last few years by her daughters and granddaughter, as well as two loving caregivers.Born in 1917 to Joe and Bridget Croteau in Newbury, the town remained what she and her siblings called "the best place on earth to live." She was a champion of the town and its lake and mountain and worked to keep it as pristine as possible for the enjoyment of all. The opportunity to see her beloved great grandchildren enjoy its beauty and bounty gave her great pleasure.Alice's life will be celebrated at a later date.Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Newbury Library, P.O.
