LAING, Alice Lorette May 2, 1936 - December 30, 2009 On Wednesday, December 30, 2009, Alice Lorette Laing (nee Cote) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family members, at the age of 73. Born in North Battleford, SK, the family moved to St. Paul in 1950. Alice was the beloved wife of Armand; mother of four daughters, Carmen (Ron) Oszust, Christine (Terry) Veenstra, Ginette (Steve) Talley and Josee (Al) Lapp; two sons, Denis (Cristy) and Blair (Keely); loved & adored by 17 grandchildren and one great-grandson. She is also survived by three sisters, Rita (Maurice) Perron, Juliette (Roger) Pollok and Elaine (Tom) Moon; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Georgiana Cote; granddaughter, Chantal Oszust; father and mother-in-law, Mendoza and Lucienne Laing. Prayer Service Sunday, January 3 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Cathedral, St. Paul. Mass of Resurrection Monday, January 4 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Paul Moses and Reverend Father R. Levasseur will be the celebrants with cremation to follow. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
