Funeral for Alice Faye Johnson Love, 62, of Moulton will be today, June 12, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Elliott Funeral Home. The family received friends Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Love died Thursday, June 10, 2004, at her home. She was born Oct. 7, 1941, in Granada, Miss. to Herman and Ida May Johnson. Mrs. Love loved being around her family and spending time with her grandchildren and her doll collection.Survivors include her husband, Charles Thomas “Joe” Love; five sons, Pat Newman, Jim Newman and Robert Newman, all of Georgia, Tony Love of Moulton and William Newman of Decatur; two daughters, Cathie McIntyre of South Carolina and Amy Love Godsey of Moulton; three brothers, Billy Jack Johnson, Bobby Johnson and James Johnson; two sisters, Patty Gist and Sybil Holly; 12 grandchildren, Dudley, Jimmy, Bobby, Cassie, Chelsea, Chloe, Breanna, Jamie, Kelton, Brent, Blake and Nickolas; and one great-grandchild, Trenton Newman.In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
