Alice Elaine Walker Anderson, 83, Sarasota, died Nov. 18, 2006. She was born May 21, 1923, in Washington, D.C., and came to Sarasota in 2002 from Fairfax, Va. She worked on the Congressional Committee of Un-American Activities on Capitol Hill. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland and a master's degree from George Washington University. She was an Episcopalian. Survivors include a daughter, Pamela E.A. Reynolds of Sarasota; and two grandchildren. Services and burial will be in Fairfax. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, handled arrangements.
