Alice F. Douglas, 68, died May 10, 2010, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach. She was born in Sampson County, N.C., and lived in this area for 31 years, coming from North Carolina. She worked in North Carolina and Florida schools and Tennessee State Park. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Kenneth E. Douglas of Sebastian; son, Gary E. Douglas of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter, Wanda J. Douglas of Sebastian; brothers, Donald K. Tutor of Sebastian, Billy H. Tutor of Vero Beach; sisters, Jo Ann Serley of Leesburg, Hazel Harrell of Raeford, N.C., Sara Grinstead of Orlando; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathy, Kathleen, Claire Mae and Mildred. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960. Services: A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. May 15 at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel, Sebastian. Arrangements are by Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory.
