DOUGLAS, Alice May 1920 - Selkirk, MB2013 - Calgary, ABAlice May Douglas passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the age of 93 years. Alice chose a career in nursing and retired from the Manitoba Clinic in 1975. She along with her husband Colin, who predeceased her in 1995, moved to Calgary in 1975 to be closer to family. Alice leaves to mourn, one daughter Maureen (Irv) Koop; two grandchildren Heather Koop of Victoria, BC and Allison (Cameron) Fraser of Calgary; two precious great-granddaughters Peyton and Bree Fraser; and her step-great-granddaughter, Sierra Appleby-Fraser as well as many nieces and nephews, especially Bev Borrowman and Sharon Kaye who were a great support to her over the years. Besides her loving husband Colin, she was predeceased by her parents; two sisters Irene and Audrey; and two brothers George and James. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
