Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Tommy Lee and Inez Griffin Putman. Alice was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Hall Cain. She was a member of Fountain Inn FBC where she was active in WMU, Sunday School, and various church committees. She retired from Union Carbide. Alice is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Randy and Sheryl Cain; a daughter and son-in-law: Dianna and Jim Yow; three grandchildren: Beth Cain, Amy Cain Dean, and Josh Yow and his wife Jessica; three great-grandchildren: Korbin Dean, Kyana Yow, and Karissa Yow. Visitation will be Friday, October 17, 2014 at Fountain Inn FBC from 1:00 - 2:15 pm followed by the funeral service at 2:30 pm and the burial at Cannon Memorial Park. www.woodlawn-fh.com Woodlawn Funeral Home
