<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Alice C. Lee, age 93, of Hueytown, AL passed away Monday, March 10, 2014. Mrs. Lee is the oldest member of Brooklane Baptist Church. A member for over 60 years, she loved her church. Prior to her declining health she loved cooking, sewing, needle work and travel. She is survived by her step daughters, Judy Smith, Kay Burrows and Gloria Fields; a host of grandchildren; her brothers, W.C. Hale and John Hale; her sisters, Betty Boughton and Ruth Barnett. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home with burial at Union Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Dewey Clevenger will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers Mrs. Lee requested donations be made to Brooklane Baptist Church.
