BANGOR - Alice Adams Anderson died June 20, 2008. She was born July 8, 1909, in Ellsworth, the daughter of Martin L. and Inez (Ketchum) Adams. She was married to Erwin Schilling Anderson, Sept. 2, 1930, and was a longtime resident of Bangor. She graduated from Ellsworth High School and attended Nason College and Boston University. She is survived by her sons, Peter A. Anderson of Bangor and Mark A. Anderson of Surry; a daughter, Jean A. Spragg of Downingtown, Pa.; severn grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Jean A. O'Meara of Hancock Point. She was predeceased by her husband, Erwin Schilling Anderson; her sisters, Edith Adams and Rachel Barker; as well as a brother, G. Richard Adams A private burial was held June 24 at Mount Hope Cemtery. Arrangements entrusted to Larry O. Audet Funeral Directors, Bangor.
