Alfred Lee Williams, 72, died Oct. 17, 2008, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. He was born in Helena, Ga., and lived in Fort Pierce, having been a longtime resident of St. Lucie County. He was employed with the St. Lucie County School Board as a school bus driver and he was retired from Publix. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, Fort Pierce. Survivors include his wife, Claudette Williams of Fort Pierce; sons, Errol Mills, Dwayne Williams and Jermaine Williams, all of Fort Pierce; brothers, Douglas Williams and Eddie Williams, both of Brunswick, Ga., Calvin Williams of Warner Robin, Ga., and McArthur Williams, of Tucson, Ariz.; sisters, Dollie Mae Holloman of New York, Dianne Flakes-Jordan of Brunswick, Marsha Griffin and Sandra Williams, both of Brunswick, and Wandra Evans of Atlanta. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lonnie E. Williams. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 1 at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park, Fort Pierce.
