JORDAN Alexander Jordan, Jr., 100, passed away quietly at home, May 10, 2006. A Homegoing Celebration will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 20th , in New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 1824 Prospect St., with Pastor Emeritus Joe Calhoun, officiating. Mr. Jordan is survived by his loving and devoted family, children: Juanita Battiese, Jessie Lester, Alexander (Annette), Norman (Jimmie Lee), Ralph (Gladys), George, Leonard, Harold (Beverly), and Emma (Lindsey) Willis; 39 grandchildren; 88 great-grandchildren; 101 great-great grandchildren; 4 sisters-in-law; a number of other relatives and friends. Visitation TODAY from 5-8:00 PM at the Mortuary, and at the church Saturday, from 9:30am until the hour of service. The cortege will assemble at the residence at 10:00 AM.
