Alex Miller Relatives and friends were saddened to hear of the sudden death of Alex Miller of Eel River Bar. He passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, Tuesday November 11 at the age of 81. Born and raised in Eel River Bar, he was the son of Louis Miller and Alice McBain. He was the widower of Barbara Miller. He leaves behind three daughters: Linda, Nancy (Harn), Patricia (Hachey) and five sons: Ronnie, George, Eric, Rene and Tony; 18 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He also leaves behind one sister; Elenor (Nora) Cross of Detroit, Michigan. Funeral Services were held at the St. John Bosco Church on Victoria St. Dalhousie on November 14, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. Burial services immediately followed at the St. John Baptist cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Alex Miller. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home in Dalhousie.
