MACK Albert William Mack, age 84, formerly a longtime resident of Bridgeport, and in later years of Cape Coral, Fla., and Cookeville, Tenn. Mr. Mack died on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tenn. He was born on March 2, 1921, in Bridgeport, to the late Benedict and Anna Macikaitis. He was an active and longtime parishioner at St. George s Lithuanian Catholic Church and a member of the choir at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, both in Bridgeport. During his working career, Mr. Mack held positions as purchasing agent for the Bullard Co., and manager of Park City Supply Co. After retiring from Park City Supply in 1986, he pursed his interest of boating on Long Island Sound and cruising to foreign destinations. His family includes a son and daughter-in-law, Albert Mack Jr. and Marilyn Shup, of Old Saybrook; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Grady Deal, of Cookeville, Tenn., and Nancy and Tony Sadler, of Cape Coral., Fla.; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Ruth Mack, of Trumbull; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves a special friend and companion, Josephine Lewis of Daytona Beach, Fla. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Mack; a stepbrother, Adolph Grigas; and a stepsister, Anne Martinones. Memorial services will be held at a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Mr. Mack s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice.
