MACDONALD, ALBERT P. At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Monday July 17, 2006 Albert P. MacDonald of Fredericton passed away at the age of 66. Born in Bloomfield Ridge, he was a son of the late Ralph and Margaret (Black) MacDonald and husband of the late Marilyn Kathleen (Grant) MacDonald who passed away in 1997. Albert spent 38 years employed with the Government of Canada at the Potato Research Center in the Department of Agriculture. He was an avid gardener, fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed his frequent visits back to the Miramichi. He is survived by a daughter Brenda Gorman of Fredericton; grandchildren Justin and Tyler Gorman and their father Peter all of Fredericton; brother David MacDonald (Peggy) of Fredericton; two sisters June Goodine of Hanwell, and Eva Boulter (Tom) of Fredericton; sister-in-law Lorraine MacDonald of Beamsville, ON; special friend Shirley Watson of Woodstock; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by a daughter Sheila MacDonald and a brother W. Ira MacDonald. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton where visitation will be held Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock, Fredericton, on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at 2:00 pm. Interment in the Douglas Rural Cemetery at a later date.
