CASEY, EDWARD ALAN - On Wednesday, February 8, 2006, Alan Casey, CD, loving husband of Bonnie (Ewart) Casey, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2006. Born in Yarmouth, NS., he is the son of the Late John Edward and Mary Mildred (Leblanc) Casey. Alan was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force for thirty-two years. Following his retirement from the Forces, he worked for the Corps of Commissionaire at the Saint John Airport. He was a Gentleman Altar Server at Our Lady of the Assumption Church and also a member of the R.C.L. Carleton Branch #2. Alan was an avid outdoorsman and his passion was hunting. Along with his wife Bonnie, Alan is survived by his daughter Michelle (Shawn) Flanagan and granddaughter Casey Violet Flanagan; sons Corey Casey, and Wayne (Melony McCarthy) Casey; sisters Jean Power, Vivian Sollows, and Susan Casey, all of Yarmouth, NS; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Castle Funeral Home Fallsview Chapel, 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) with visitation Friday from 2-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 10 o'clock on Saturday, February, 11, 2006 with interment in Greenwood Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. Donations in Alan's memory made to Hospice-Saint John or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. [Telegraph-Journal]
