Agnes T. O'Grady White BRADENTON, FL Agnes T. O'Grady White, beloved wife of John L. White, passed peacefully on August 11, 2014. Agnes was born on January 22, 1937, in Utica, New York, to Andrew and Bertha (Treen) O'Grady. In 1956, Agnes married the 'love of her life' John L. White of Eastchester, NY. Agnes was a loving and dedicated mother to her four children, John, Cindy, Jeffrey and Cheryl. Agnes was a proud Grandma to her seven grandchildren, Ashley, Tara and John White, Jessica, Gabrielle and Zachary Wortman and Rebekah Tiedemann. In 1974, Agnes and John established A.T. White Realty, LTD, in Eastchester, NY. The Eastchester Chamber of Commerce honored her as 'Person of the Year' in 1994. Volunteerism and commitment to the community was an important part of Agnes' life. After retiring, Agnes and John resided on Oneida Lake for 17 years, where she enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and cherished entertaining her family. She was the consummate hostess. For the past 12 years, Agnes and John have loved living in Bradenton, FL. Agnes was predeceased by her brothers, John, James and Andrew, Jr.; sister, Catherine and brother-in-law, Frank Bianco. She is survived by her sisters, Bertha Moyer and Mary Dembrowski (Carl), and brothers, Francis (Marina), Thomas, Patrick (Cindy) and Edward (Deborah), all residing in the Utica, NY, area, and brother-in-law, Philip White (Alice).
