-> Scotia, SC - Mrs. Agnes Prince Mason Terry, 96, died Wednesday at the residence of her daughter in Brunson after an extended illness. Born August 13, 1907 in Scotia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Albert I. Prince and Rebecca "Lizzie" Nix Prince. From 1960 until 1985 she was the owner of J.E. Mason Groceries in Brighton, serving all the residents of the surrounding area. She was a member of St. John Methodist Church in Garnett. She was predeceased by her husbands, Elwood Mason and Thomas Terry. She is survived by two daughters, Annie Rose Shafer of Burnson, Mary Littlejohn of Ridgeland and one step-daughter, Susan Gage of Prescott, AZ. There are five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton, conducted by Rev. Mike Written and Rev. John Cross, with burial following i n Lebanon Cemetery in Scotia, SC. Friends may call at he chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening and until the hour of services on Friday.
