Agnes Jean Hanley of Endicott Agnes Jean Hanley, 80, born May 2, 1929, of Endicott, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes in her home. She was predeceased by six brothers, James, Robert, Richard, Jerry, Charles, and Edward; and the love of her life that she bitterly missed, her husband, Francis Hanley. She is survived by her daughter, Mary and son-in-law, Robert Stradley, Endicott; son, James Hanley and daughter-in-law, Donna, North Carolina; and daughter, Cathy and son-in-law, Edward Harmon, Endicott; her grandchildren, Liza Wolbert (Don), Amherst, NY, Andrea Kurtz (Joe), Endicott, Jessica Briggs (Matt), North Carolina, Lacey Harmon, Kew Gardens, NY, Christina Hanley, North Carolina, and Alexander Harmon, Endicott; her great-grandchildren, Renee, Taylor, and Lexus; and several nieces and nephews. Agnes retired from the Union-Endicott School District where she worked as a teacher's aide for many, many years. She loved each and every one of the children at school. Her grandchildren will greatly miss their "Grammie." She is finally back with her soul mate. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 701 West Main Street, Endicott at 12 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery Johnson City. The family will receive friends at church on Wednesday from 10 until service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. "Her home away from home".
