ERICKSON _ Agnes. March 19, 1910 - February 3rd, 2003. Agnes grew up on the prairies. Her great-grandparents emigrated to Canada from Ireland in 1820. Just after Confederation her grandparents moved from Ontario to Manitoba, a six month journey by oxcart and riverboat. They moved further west than any permanent settlers before them. Their lives, as well as that of dear departed Agnes, are a testament to all that is best in the Canadian character. Throughout her long life Agnes lived with the strength, courage and dignity that she had been taught as a child. Agnes was predeceased by her husband Ed in 1986. Survived by her daughter Lillian, son Eric (Anne), grandchildren Kris and Mark, and sisters Annie, Lily and Eunice. Service Friday, February 14th, 10:00 a.m., First Memorial Chapel, 602 Kingsway.
