WADDELL -Agnes Elizabeth. Agnes Elizabeth Waddell of Saskatoon, SK died peacefully after a stroke at University Hospital, aged 86. She is survived by her daughter Joyce (Ron) Thorstad, son Ken, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, sister Jessie Herrold and brother Gordon Duff. She was predeceased by her husband Merle, parents Ernest and Gertrude Duff, sister Margaret Cratty and brother Bill Duff. Agnes was born at Rosetown, SK July 26, 1919 she received her schooling at Anglia and after her marriage, lived at McGee and Anglia. Upon retirement, she and Merle moved to Saskatoon and for several years, wintered in Mesa, Arizona. After Merle's passing, she enjoyed her years at Chalet Gardens and Primrose Chateau. Living in condominiums and apartments meant a chance to make new friends. When Merle was alive the house was always full of family and guests since Agnes' skills as a cook made her home a popular spot. A memorial service will be held Wednesday October 19, 2005 @ 2:00 p.m. from the Rosetown United Church with lunch and interment of cremated remains to follow. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Clements' Rosetown Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
