MARGARET MURPHY MILLER Age 81, of Boynton Beach, FL and formerly of Las Vegas, NV, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2003 after a courageous battle with Alzheimers. Margaret was born in Gillespie, IL on October 2, 1921. She resided in Chicago, IL where she raised her family and worked for 30 years as Food Director at St. Luke's Presbyterian Hospital. Upon retiring, Margaret and her husband moved to Boynton Beach nine years ago during which time she continued her trips to Las Vegas, which she loved. Survivors include her loving husband of 33 years, John "Bill" Miller; daughter, Mary Funk, her husband Bill and children, Stephanie and Robert of St. Joseph, Ml; sons: William "Bill" Murphy and wife, Esther of Downers Grove, IL and James "Jimmy" Murphy, his wife, Sharon and children, Meghann and Katy of Chicago, IL; brother, Gerald Struthers of Las Vegas, NV; sister-in-law Maryann; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Friday, August 8, 2003 (TODAY) from 10 to 11 AM with an 11 AM scripture service at LORNE & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 745 NE 6th Avenue, Delray Beach. Margaret will be buried alongside her mother and father in Las Vegas, NV.
