SMITH Addie Lee Smith, 93, of Jacksonville passed away on February 1, 2007. A Native of Tift County, GA and was a resident of Jacksonville since 1944. Addie's Joy in the Journey was highlighted by her desire to share her talents with others. Was known for crocheting infant clothing for the Navy's new borne children and received special awards for her work. Addie was a member of Jones Road Baptist Church and Marietta Senior Citizens. She is survived by sons: Charles Smith (Carol), and Dwain Smith (Marion) and one daughter Glenda Sprouse. 8 grandchildren: Gary Smith, Karen O'Boyle, Jeffrey Smith, Kathy Smith, Rick Smith, Rayna Smith, Lanyce Smith, and Samuel Sprouse, Jr. 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 PM Sunday at Hardage Giddens Funeral Homes, 729 S. Edgewood Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32205 where Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, with Dr. Terry Gore, Franklin Street Baptist Church officiating.
