NORTHPORT Ada Mae Smith, age 95, of Northport, formerly of Marion, died May 26, 2012, at Hunter Creek Health & Rehab. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in Marion with Pastor Bob Pendley officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Nelson Funeral Home of Fayette directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ira Smith; son, James Harold Smith; and daughters, Elizabeth Ann Smith and Mary Evelyn Smith.Survivors include her daughter, Doris Smith Tidmore of Cottondale; four grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.She was retired from Biflex.Pallbearers will be Alex Tidmore, Brett Maddox, Wesley Tyner, Andy Lynn, Matt Deal, and Chris Mable.Honorary pallbearers are employees of Hunter Creek Health & Rehab and friends at Pineview and Mt. Carmel.
