KENDRICK, Mrs. Annie Ruth, 75, a resident of 464 Zeigler Road, Wetumpka, AL, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 17, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. from the Atkins Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Wetumpka, Alabama with Rev. Kendel Burton, Officiating/Pastor. Burial will be in the Churchyard Cemetery with Hillside Mortuary Directing. She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted husband, William Kendrick; six children, Enid Kendrick, Jannie (Wayne) Colquitt, all of Wetumpka, Alabama, Hubert (Phyllis) Kendrick, Montgomery, Alabama, Gladys (Willie) Thompson, Cincinnati, Ohio and Willie (Annie Pearl) Kendrick, Trenton, Ohio; six sisters, Jannie (Willie) Steele, Irene Simpson, both of Birmingham, Alabama, Cora Lee (John) Campbell, Alice Baker, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, Helen McCoy, Chicago, Illinois, Mary Rose Buycks, California; one brother, Willie (Christine) Buycks, Cincinnati, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two special friends, Julia Grays and Eula Mae Palmore and a host of devoted nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service.
