CARROLL, ANNIE MAE age 91, of Bessemer, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011. Mrs. Carroll was a longtime member of McNeil Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carroll; parents, Willie and Norena Newell; sisters, Maudie Cooley and Mamie Miller; and brother, Doris Newell. She is survived by her son, James R. Carroll; daughter, Adeleen Easterling; grandchildren, Connie Blankensopp (David), Janie Carroll (Danny), Dewayne Carroll, Robbie Ferguson (Heath); nine great-grandchildren and many extended loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 11:00 am with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Bro. Tony Savage officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, April 19 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Mrs. Annie Mae Carroll's memory to; McNeil Baptist Church Building Fund, 1720 13th Street North, Bessemer, AL 35020. >
