Anne Frances Martin passed away December 30, 2009. Anne was born March 5, 1915 at home in Yonkers. Upon her graduation from Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers, Anne worked for Woolworth's Department Stores. She married Charles James Martin in 1943 and in 1951 moved to Mahopac. Mrs. Martin lost her husband in 1960 and raised her three children while working for different companies that included ten years at BOCES in Yorktown. Anne retired in 1983. Mrs. Martin was busy with many different activities from teaching CCD and Girl Scouts in her earlier years to the Rosary Altar Society and Catholic Daughters of America at Saint Johns. Finally, she was involved with the various senior citizens activities and loved to travel with her daughter Regina. She is survived by her three children, Charles, Regina and Patrick and her five grandchildren, Brian, Kim, Patrick, Luke and Aidan. Visiting Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11 am at St. John The Evangelist Church, Mahopac with interment to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Brewster. JOSEPH J.
