She leaves to cherish her memories her only son, Marlond (Sammena) Mason; three grandchildren, Jada Mason, Ivan Roper, and Dominique Brown, all of Knoxville, Tennessee; six siblings, Sallie (Robert) Riley, Marian Watkins, Daniel Mason, Ernestine Poole, Mary (Peanut) Carswell, Rickey Mason; a host of nieces, nephews, and one Godchild, Kelly Bryant; along with a host of family and friends in both Atlanta and Knoxville. Celebration of life service Saturday, November 29, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church 2565 James Dr. NW Atlanta, GA 30318. Rev. Charles Alphabet Jr., Pastor. Interment Southview Cemetery.
