DESROCHES, ANDRE J., 92 Ocala - Andre J. Desroches, born July 24, 1922, in Port­-au­-Prince, Haiti, passed peacefully in his home in Ocala, Florida at the age of 92. Just one day prior to his death, he celebrated his 68th wedding anniversary with his loving wife. Andre is the son of the late Louis and Christian Desroches, he is also brother to Lucienne, Marcelle, Yolande, and Maude. Andre is survived by his wife, Guerta; children, Leslie, Carolle, Ronald and Andre Jr.; and he was also blessed with eight grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. His career spanned 25 years as a manager of a fastening company, but the job he enjoyed the most was after his retirement as a 'wing man' at an aviation company on Long Island, N.Y. Andre was proud to be a Mason of good standing. He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary congregation. While we mourn his passing we still celebrate his life. Visitation will be held 5:00- 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2015 at HIERS-BAXLEY FUNERAL SERVICES-Boulevard.
