WALKER, ALYCE V. Alyce V. Patterson Walker, 67, a beloved, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away on July 29th, 2010. Alyce was born on October 14th, 1942 to the late Lonnie and Lou Terrell, the youngest of 12 children. She was a lifetime resident of Gainesville, FL. She worked as a waitress for The Canton Restaurant for many years. Alyce was an AVID Florida Gator Football fan. She trully believed in lending a helping hand to any and everyone who needed it. She was a Christian by faith. She is survived by her husband Frank T. Walker; four sons, Mark, Dale (Karen), John (Christina), and Hans (Jacqueline) Pfalzgraf; nine grandchildren: Heather (Larry), Josh (Lynn), Amanda (Joe), Mike, Patrick, Nick, Austin, Logan and Faith; Seven great grandchildren, Michaela, Kayln, Shyann, Joshlynn, EmmaLee, Noah and Trenton. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Alyce's life will be held at Forest Meadows Funeral Home on Monday, August 2nd at 2:00p.m. A Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00p.m. at the Funeral Home.
