Albert Wendell Jacques, 81 of Palm Coast Florida passed away on March 11, 2011 while surrounded by his loving family. Albert was born in Concord New Hampshire to the late Eric M. Jacques and Lottie Sargent Jacques on April 20, 1929. Albert served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War earning the Bronze Star. He worked as Vice president of Cheshire County Savings Bank, Keene, NH retiring in 1985. Albert then took on the role of Marine patrol officer on Newfound Lake in New Hampshire for nine summers. Albert also served for many years as a volunteer for the Bridgewater, N.H. Fire Brigade. He was a lifetime member of the Keene N.H. Elks Club #927, a lifetime member of the VFW, a member of the American Legion Post 0240 in Pensacola, FL a 50 year Mason and a member of the N.H. Bektash Shrine. Albert is survived by his Beloved wife of 58 years Geraldine Jacques of FL, sons Michael Wesley Jacques (Deborah) of New Hampshire, Steven Dale Jacques (Patti) of Georgia; daughter Cynthia Willett (David) of Florida. Albert was also the loving grandfather to Ian Michael Jacques of New Hampshire and Peter Wesley Jacques of Rhode Island. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home in Palm Coast, FL.
