MOORE, VIRGINIA, 82, of Louisville, passed away Friday, July 21, 2006 at Norton Hospital Hospice Unit. She was a native of Henry Co., KY, the former Virginia Wallace, a retired nurse, she was a former owner and operator of a mini-nursing care facility in Crestwood, KY., for over 20 years and a member of the Pewee Valley Seventh Day Adventist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Moore, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Jude Westphal (Kent); sons, Reuben Moore, Jr. and Randall W. Moore (Janice); brothers, Bud Wallace (Joyce) and Lewis Wallace (Jean); sister, Ruth Wallace Riddell; four grandchildren, Randall David Moore, Marinda Schneider, Rachael Callahan and Amanda Moore; and six great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be 3 p.m. Monday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Highlands. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Lymphoma Society.
