Thomas M. Moon was born March 19, 1973 in Hollywood, Florida. Tom graduated from Hollywood Hills School, the University of Florida for undergraduate studies and later Nova Southeastern University for his law degree. Tom loved sports, his Florida Gators and practicing law. He played football and baseball in his youth and later enjoyed softball, golf and cycling. While in law school, he was a member of the Moot Court Society and the Nova Law Review. Tom had the privilege of representing his fellow law students by serving as a Student Bar Representative during his second and third years of law school. Tom had a very successful legal career and was a prominent lawyer throughout Florida handling hundreds of trials while working at several law firms. He spent his last four years with Van Ness Law Firm as Managing Trial Attorney overseeing the litigation department. He has mentored several established trial lawyers that will carry on his legacy. He leaves behind his loving mother Delores and many friends throughout South Florida. Funeral Services will be held at Joseph A. Scarano Funeral Homes this Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 6970 Stirling Road, Hollywood, FL 33024 starting at 10:30AM with the viewing followed by the ceremony at 1:00PM.
