Theresa A. Williams of BinghamtonTheresa A. Williams, 85, of Binghamton, went to be with her Lord Friday, March 15, 2002 at Elizabeth Church Manor. She was predeceased by her husband, William Williams in 1992; a sister, Alice Lewicki; her brothers, Charles Austra, Joseph Austra and Alex Austra. She is survived by three daughters, Lois and Harry Swartwood, Greene, Anna May Weg, Palm Beach, Fla. and Wilma Mersentes, Lake Worth, Fla.; her grandchildren, Harry William and Margaret Swartwood, Randal Swartwood, DDS and JoAnne Swartwood, William Weg, Sylvia and Gerald Swezy, Tressa Weg-Recanatti, Alexander K. Mersentes and Therese Mersentes; her great-grandchildren, Janice Ann Swartwood, Lisa Marie Swartwood, Will Randal Swartwood and Jerrod Paul; sisters, Helen Zekas, Olga and Joe Visco, Ketora Hahn, Lillian Austra and Josephine McDermott; also several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff at Elizabeth Church Manor for the excellent and loving care extended to Theresa. Funeral services will be held Monday at 8:45 a.m. from the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson and at 9:30 a.m. from St. Cyril and Methodius Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friends wishing may make memorial contributions to Elizabeth ChurchManor.
