Graveside services for Ernest Williams, 86, formerly of Decatur, Ala., were held Friday, July 9, 2004, at 10 a.m. at Lake Wales Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Hare officiating and Marion Nelson Funeral Home directing. Mr. Williams died Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at Lake Wales Medical Center. He was born Sept. 7, 1917, in Lauderdale County, Ala. He was a machine operator for Citrus World. He was a member of the Revival Tabernacle. Survivors include four brothers, Robert Williams of Anderson, Ala., Brandon Williams of Killen, Ala., James Williams of Loretto, Tenn. and Gaither Williams of Decatur; and four sisters, Gladys Harris, Jean Williams and Mary Birdwell, all of Decatur, and Sylvia Wilburn of St. Joseph, Tenn.
