Obituary of Ruth-L. Williams


The funeral for Mrs. Ruth Leonia Williams will be Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at noon, at Elkins East Chapel Funeral Home, Center Star, with Brother Tom Howe officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.Mrs. Williams, 84, of Anderson, died Sunday, May 2, 2004. She was a native of Cleburn County, Ala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto M. Williams; parents, Henry and Exie Kesler; sister, Verna Seal Moode; and brother, Lee Kesler.Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughters, Nell Bullard and husband, James, Rogersville, Sandra Williams, Anderson, Diane Cole, Killen; son, Kenneth Williams and wife, Florence, Elgin; sister, Syble Sullivan, Gardendale; grandchildren, Cindy, Connie, Dawn, Chris, Shane, Blake and Blair; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Laura, Tyler, Scott, Austin and Karsten.Pallbearers will be Blake Williams, Chris Cole, Shane Grubbs, Matthew Brown, Tyler Brown and James Bullard.Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Davis, Austin Davis and Karsten Davis.Mrs. Williams was a member of the First Baptist Church of Anderson. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
