PARKER, Deacon Roger L., age 64, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. from the Sweet Canaan Baptist Church with Dr. Paul Lawson, Jr. Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in the Churchyard Cemetery with Burton's Funeral Home Staff directing. Survivors include his wife, Rose Parker, Montgomery, AL; two daughters, Sharon D. Parker, Louisville, MS and Ivy N. Richardson, Clearwater, FL; four sons, John H. Smith, Clearwater, FL, Roger L. Parker, Jr., Tuskegee, AL, Willie L. Parker, Montgomery, AL and Stanley Parker, Coleman, FL; three sisters; four brothers; six sister-in-laws; two brother-in-laws; 22 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a host of adopted children, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
