Frederick On March 21st, 3 days shy of his 70th birthday, Bob Frederick peacefully transitioned into eternal life.A memorial service will be held at St Peters Anglican Church on Friday, March 28th at 2pm. Family will receive friends in the parish hall following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Project, Big Bend Hospice, or Elder Care Services. Bob was brought up in Ocala, son of his deceased parents, Robert and Mildred Frederick.Bob graduated from the University of Florida and entered the Army as a 2nd Lieutenant.He moved to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University and earned two master degrees. Bob had a great memory for facts, figures, and jokes. He worked for HRS (DCF) for 38 years where he was Administrative Services Director for District 2. Bob loved reading books, magazines and three newspapers a day. He enjoyed his family, sports, traveling, music, cooking, growing vegetables, and just plain relaxing.He was a good and honest man. He had a good life and was loved. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 41 years, Nancy, and his children, Lorie and Matthew Frederick; sisters Mary Gaynor (John) of New Smyrna Beach and their loving family, Sister Margaret Frederick of Cullman, AL, and special family friend, Sister Barbara Gallagher.
