Norma Lee King Barber, 70, of Arden, N.C., passed Saturday, July 21, 2007. Memorial services were held at the Asheville Living Savior Lutheran Church on Friday, July 27. Memorials may be made to Living Savior Church, 301 Overlook Road, Asheville, N.C. Mrs. Barber was a native of Tallahassee, Fla., having made Arden her home since 2005. She attended Leon High and had worked for the Florida state Office of the Controller and the Secretary of State's offices in Tallahassee, Fla.Survivors included her husband, Robert Barber of Arden, N.C.; a daughter, Mary Langston of Hendersonville, N.C.; a son, Bill Langston of Chiefland, Fla.; a brother, Tom King of Bath, S.C.; and a sister, Barbara Lambert of Tallahassee. She was predeceased by her loving father, Mr. Thomas M. King, and mother, Mrs. Honorine Wade King, and a sister, Constance Kay King.
