Norma Elizabeth MacLean February 2, 1926 - August 27, 2014 The passing of Norma Elizabeth MacLean of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Howard MacLean occurred on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 2, 1926 in Clearview, NB, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mary (Kilpatrick) Smalley. Norma retired from Nursing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was a member of the Nashwaak Centennial United Church and also a UCW Life Member. Norma is survived by her sisters, Madeline Place (Donald) of Alberta and Vera Konald (James) of Minnesota; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Herbert Smalley; sister in law, Irene Smalley; nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take at Taymouth United Church,Taymouth, NB on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 1 pm with Dr. Yvette Swan officiating. Interment will take place in Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Nashwaak Centennial United Church, Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the charity of the donor’s choice.
