Raymond Lee Graves, age 61, of Crestview, passed away Monday Sept. 29, 2008. Ray was born Jan. 22, 1947. He is survived by a daughter who lives out on the west coast. Ray served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He entered duty on July 21, 1964 and was honorably discharged July 18, 1973. During his nine-year military career, Ray was a decorated Vietnam veteran, having served two tours of duty as a dog handler in the EOD. Following his military service, Ray entered the field of inspection service for nuclear power plants. For nearly the past 10 years, Ray worked for NC Manufacturing, in Crestview as a senior mechanical inspector. Ray had many friends in the Crestview area and will be missed by all that knew him and worked with him. A memorial visitation service will be held Saturday at the Brackney Funeral Home, at 480 E.
