Michael-David Parker, spouse of Cynthia-Scott Parker, father of Michael Parker, Christina and Pamela, died on August 26, 2011. Please consult the obituary here:
Michael David Parker, 59 died Aug. 26, 2011, in Rogers. He was born in Yakima Valley, Wash., He graduated in 1969 from Dan McCarty High School in Fort Pierce and was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Fort Pierce. He was a member of Northwest 15th Arkansas Volunteer Infantry Re-enactors and the Wrights Light Artillery Civil War Re-enactors. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Scott Parker of Rogers, Ark.; sons, Michael Parker Jr. of Port St. Lucie, and James Parker and Christopher Parker, both of Rogers; daughters, Christina Parker of Rogers and Pamela Beck of Port St. Lucie; brother, Eddie Parker of Fellsmere; and sister, Mary Moss of Fellsmere. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, c/o Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers, AR 72756; www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com. Services: Memorial services with a 21-gun salute by the Confederate Re-enactors will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 10 at Prairie Grove Battlefield, Arkansas. Local arrangements are by Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
