MORIN, Mary Marilyn - March 9, 1936 - June 4, 2011 At Huntsville, Ontario surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of Frank and Muriel Shea, Marilyn was born and raised in the west end of Toronto attending St. Brigid's Elementary School and Notre Dame High School. A dedicated and compassionate nurse, she recently celebrated her 53rd reunion as a graduate Registered Nurse of St. Michael's School of Nursing. Devoted wife of 51 years to Russill and doting, loving mother to David, Shea, Caron, Holly and Martine. Proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren: Ciara, Molly, Aila and Maeve Morin, Caitlin and Jonathan Bunston, Danielle Neufeld and Hunter Zahnt, Savannah, Sophia and Duke Stone and Gabriel and Grace Peressini; great- grandmother of Fallon Rain Neufeld. Mother-in-law and friend to Sheena Branigan, Michael Bunston, Michael Zahnt, Gordon Stone and Marc Peressini. Quite simply, babies, children and the less fortunate were the focus of Marilyn's life. Together with Russill, Marilyn shared a lifelong passion for music. An accomplished piano player and harpist, Marilyn spent her final days listening to her beloved jazz music. Marilyn was a light and an inspiration to all who knew her. Her grace, gentle nature and loving personality coupled with an irreverent sense of humour belied the strength and resilience of an indomitable spirit. Her faith and sense of humour remained resolute throughout her life and valiant struggle with illness. The family expresses its heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses of Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto and to the Family Health Team, VON Nursing Agency and Contact Hope Palliative Care Branch of the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital for their attentive care of Marilyn. Special thanks to Dr. Helen Dempster and to Father Gerrard McMahon.
