Mary JoAnn DeWitt went home to be with the Lord Jehovah August 2, 2001 in Jacksonville, Florida. Memorial services will be held Saturday (today) August 4, 2001 at 7:30 PM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Northside Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street with Rev. David Sandifer officiating. Mrs. DeWitt will be joining her daughter, Jackie DeWitt who preceded her in death. Mrs. DeWitt is survived by her husband, Robert E. DeWitt, her children, Johanna Stiles, Bobbie Wise (Raymond), Chris DeWitt (Cissy), Lisa Kenna, Laurie Ward DeWitt, Gabrielle Lincoln (Bob), Sean DeWitt (Renee), Per DeWitt and Jerry DeWitt (Ruth), 22 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
