Reidsville - Martha Jean Eason Smith, 73, of Orlando, FL, died Sunday, March 2, 2003. Born in Reidsville, she moved to Orlando in 1963 and taught Elementary and Gifted education and was the state coordinator of the Gifted Children in Problem Solving. She was also talented in music and art. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Howard Smith. Survivors: two daughters and sons-in-law, Viki and Jim Rose of Orlando, FL, Kimberely and Jeff Jones of Groveland, FL; sister, Virginia Kicklighter of Reidsville; two sisters-in-law, Wilma Eason of Reidsville, Joyce Durden of Twin City; four grandchildren, three great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
