<!-- FH = Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, Mo. -->Margaret Johnson SandersMargaret Johnson Sanders, age 90, formerly of Gainesville, Mo., passed to eternal life on June 18, 2013 in Harrah, Okla. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Boyd Sanders, in 2005. Her parents, Everett and Erna Johnson; brothers, Paul Johnson and Gene Johnson also preceded her in death. She leaves behind her three daughters and their husbands: Berna Miller and Rev. John Miller of Mandan, N.D., Barbara Bain and Millard Bain, of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mary Davis and Larry Davis of Woodland, Calif.; and her sister, Mildred Lantz, Virginia, Minn. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.Margaret was born September 10, 1922 in Pontiac, Mo. Margaret and Boyd graduated from Gainesville High School on April 24, 1941. On graduation day they were released from school early, drove to Wasola, Mo. to get married and went back for the graduation ceremony.Over the years, Boyd and Margaret lived in Mountain Home, Ark.; Garrison, N.D.; Fair Grove, Mo.; Babbitt, Minn.; returning to Ozark County in January, 1973. She resided in a nursing home in Oklahoma since 2005. Margaret owned Sanders Real Estate in Ozark County and sold World Book Encyclopedias and was an Avon representative for many years. She had a true green thumb and received a great amount of enjoyment taking cuts of plants and watching them grow into masterpieces.Margaret took a great deal of pride in her appearance and always looked her best. She loved clothes, makeup and jewelry. She continued to wear high heels until she was almost 83 years young. Visitation will be Sunday, June 23 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, June 24, at 10:00 a.m. Both will be in Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville, Mo.
